I want to take a few minutes to update you on the real estate market and our new education designations that allow our team to provide our clients a higher level of service.
In the past few months, I have taken courses on Short Sales, Foreclosures, and REO’s and received the CDPE-(Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation. In addition to the traditional real estate services we provide, I am also trained to help home sellers and buyers with home sales that involve short sales negotiations with banks. The short sale is designed to help sellers sell their homes to buyers even though they may be upside down in their home. The success of a short sale benefits both buyer and seller. The seller avoids foreclosure and keeps their credit in good standing and the buyer purchases a home at a great deal without the concerns of an “as is sale.”
I have also earned my designation as a Green Certified Real Estate Professional which will help me work with sellers for designing “green” additions to their present homes and buyers to choose a Green Builder offering Green Options and Specifications for their new home.
I believe that it is important to continue my education so that I, along with my team, may continue to offer our clients the highest level of service.

Interest rates have dropped dramatically and this presents a great opportunity for buyers that have not yet bought a home to purchase NOW during this perfect time. There are great homes on the market to purchase but with these great interest rates, the supply of homes to purchase will begin to disappear.
For sellers, this is a great time to be sure your home is ready for these new buyers that will be out looking at homes to purchase. The number of homes for sale that are "move in ready" are selling and the number of homes on the market is beginning to drop.
December, January and February will present a "perfect storm" for your real estate needs. I'm sure you'll have questions, so please call me right away.

The Real Estate Market-A real estate agent's point of view.
This is a great opportunity to share with you how the real estate market has affected myself and my team.
As all of you are very aware, the real estate industry has been met with many challenges in the last 12 months. I realize it has been difficult
for sellers to sell their homes. Consequently, our team has worked even harder to make sure we succeed in assisting our buyers and sellers to a successful closing. Having said that, in the months of September and October, we have closed 17 homes.
One of the key points that has been overlooked, is that interest rates remain low and provides a great opportunity to purchase your dream home.
It is not an easy time to sell or buy, but it can be done!
